“Make the Case” is officially back on Giants.com for the 2024 NFL Draft.

In this series, we look at projections provided by analysts and then ask you, the fans, to weigh in on what the Giants should do in the draft.

With the draft a little over a month away, let’s take a look at a debate between two of the best in the business, ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. and NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah, who each released new mock drafts this week following the first wave of free agency.

Kiper’s Pick

Pick: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington

Height: 6-foot-3 | Weight: 215

2023 Stats: 92 receptions for 1,640 yards and 13 touchdowns. His 1,640 receiving yards led the nation.

Accolades: Consensus All-American (2023), 2x First-Team All-Pac-12 (2022, 2023), Third-Team All-American (2022)

“This would make back-to-back-to-back quarterbacks at the top of the board, and then back-to-back-to-back wideouts right after that. That’s how loaded these groups are.”

Jeremiah’s Pick

Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU

Height: 6-foot-0 | Weight: 200

2023 Stats: 89 receptions for 1,569 yards (17.6 avg.) and 14 touchdowns. Led the nation in receiving yards per game (120.7), 20-plus yard plays (34) and 30-plus yard plays (17)

Accolades: Unanimous All-American (2023), First-Team All-SEC (2023)

“I wouldn’t rule out the Giants trading up for a quarterback this year. If they stick and pick at No. 6, adding Nabers’ playmaking ability would be a good move.”
