Eastern Illinois men’s basketball placed five players on the NABC (National Association of Basketball Coaches) Honors Court which was released by the national organization on Monday.

Carson Prost, Corey Sawyer Jr., Dan Luers, Kooper Jacobi and Rodolfo Bolis all received the national academic honor which is awarded to basketball players with a 3.2 or higher cumulative GPA and an academic class standing of a junior, senior or graduate student.

Prost and Bolis are both Sport Management majors. Sawyer is a Public Relations major. Jacobi is a Mathematics major and Luers is an exercise science major.

Eastern Illinois University’s men’s basketball program achieved a notable academic distinction this week, with five of its players being named to the prestigious NABC (National Association of Basketball Coaches) Honors Court. Carson Prost and Rodolfo Bolis are pursuing degrees in Sport Management, where they are preparing for careers in the sports industry while demonstrating their commitment to academic excellence. Corey Sawyer Jr. is majoring in Public Relations, focusing on the art of communication and media relations. Kooper Jacobi is studying Mathematics, a field that requires both analytical skills and dedication. Dan Luers is enrolled in Exercise Science, reflecting his interest in the scientific aspects of physical health and athletic performance.
