Dodgers Not Rushing to Make Trades Following Kim Signing
The Dodgers agreed to a deal with South Korean infielder Hyeseong Kim on Friday, but this doesn’t mean they’re in a rush to trade any of their existing infielders. General Manager Brandon Gomes explained that the team is simply adding a talented player and will assess the situation moving forward.
“We’re adding a really talented player and then we’ll see how things play out,” Gomes said. “It’s helpful to have strong pieces in various areas.”
The Dodgers are expected to have Mookie Betts and Gavin Lux as their starting double-play combination, with Kim joining Chris Taylor and Miguel Rojas as potential reserves on the bench. Although the team may eventually move one of the infielders, they are not currently in a hurry to make any changes.
Blue Jays Make Offer to Anthony Santander
