Breaking News: Linkon Cure has announced his commitment to Texas A&M Aggies Football

One of the most highly regarded high school tight ends in the country is preparing to announce his college football decision, leaving Kansas head coach Lance Leipold and Kansas State head coach Chris Klieman eagerly anticipating his choice.

Linkon Cure, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound tight end from Goodland, will reveal his decision between KU, K-State, Oregon, and Texas A&M at a commitment ceremony in his hometown scheduled for 4 p.m. on Monday.

All four universities have intensely recruited Cure, demonstrating their strong interest through months of engagement.

Cure has visited each school officially and holds scholarship offers from over 30 FBS programs.

Both Kansas and Kansas State have prioritized Cure in their recruiting efforts.

Recently, he visited Manhattan, where he was pictured in a K-State uniform alongside quarterback Avery Johnson and running back Dylan Edwards, generating excitement among K-State supporters.

Prior to that, his visit to Lawrence elicited a similar enthusiastic response from KU fans.

Cure is rated as a five-star recruit by 247Sports and a four-star recruit by On3, ESPN, and Rivals. Across the board, recruiting services recognize him as one of the top recruits in Kansas and rank him within the top 70 nationally.

Cure is expected to make a significant impact at the collegiate level with his versatility as a tight end, capable of both blocking effectively and making plays downfield.

His announcement next week will reveal where he plans to further his football career.
