DEVASTATING: Alabama star player was just traded to the NFL Team…

Report: Former Alabama Standout Amari Cooper Traded to Bills

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Amari Cooper, a former star wide receiver for Alabama, has been moved from the Cleveland Browns to the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills are trading for Browns WR Amari Cooper, sending a third-round pick in a pick swap.” “Full details: BUF gets WR Amari Cooper and 6th in 2025, CLE gets 3rd in 2025 and a 7th in 2026”

This move occurs just three months after the Browns restructured his contract, which guaranteed him the $20 million that was remaining on it in addition to a $5 million raise.

Earlier in the summer, Cooper declined to participate in obligatory minicamp in hopes of securing a new contract. However, he will probably end the holdout once Cleveland’s training camp starts.

In 2023–24, the fourth overall choice in the 2015 NFL Draft had one of his greatest seasons and was selected to his fifth Pro Bowl. He recorded 11 receptions for 2 touchdowns on December 24, 2023, against the Houston Texans, setting a team record for receiving yards.

Through six games this season, Cooper has 24 receptions for 250 yards and two scores. Nevertheless, Cleveland’s 1-5 record is tied for the worst in the league, indicating that the Browns have suffered significantly through the first three months of the season.

Cooper joins a Bills squad full of talent and postseason potential, but there was definitely room for improvement in the wide receivers group, especially with the departure of four-time Pro Bowler Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans in the offseason. Josh Allen, one of the most highly regarded quarterbacks in the game, will now be targeting Cooper.

Cooper was an Alabama player from 2012 to 2014. He was the FBS leader in receptions (124) and the SEC leader in receiving yards (1,727) and touchdowns (16) during his final season with the Crimson Tide. This enabled him to advance to the Heisman Trophy finals.
