Following Barkley’s exit, Singletary, aged 27, is poised to become the primary running back for the Giants.
Standing at 5 feet 7 inches and weighing 203 pounds, he has demonstrated consistency during his tenure in Buffalo, averaging 788 yards rushing over his initial four NFL seasons. Additionally, he has maintained relatively good health, appearing in at least 16 games since his second season in the league. Singletary notably excelled in the 2023 season in Houston, achieving a career-high of 898 rushing yards on 216 carries, along with four touchdowns, in a complete 17-game seasons.
Devin Singletary could be a solid addition for the Giants, but replacing someone as dynamic as Saquon Barkley might require a combination of players and strategies rather than relying solely on one running back. Singletary’s skills could certainly contribute to filling the gap left by Barkley’s absences.
