Last Sunday night, Cleary, an undisputed champion leader of young men, led the Panthers to a historic fourth consecutive title—an accomplishment his opponents can only aspire to. Images of Cleary unable to get out of bed, depressed and wanting to give up everything, are unimaginable.
In an intense attempt to save the lives of Australian men, the 53-year-old has gone where it makes him uncomfortable for the first time. He wants to demonstrate that he is far from perfect by talking openly about his mental health issues.
