Clemson Football: Cade Klubnik signs a NIL deal

Year two at the helm, Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik is ready to take the next step

A year of being the full-time starter has given Cade Klubnik the confidence of being a seasoned veteran who expects to see major gains in 2024.

CLEMSON, S.C. — As Clemson continues spring practice, quarterback Cade Klubnik’s comfort level in the Garrett Riley-coordinated offense has grown since that last drive of 2023.

Klubnik led the Tigers to a game-winning touchdown in the Gator Bowl and that performance in the clutch against Kentucky has given the junior quarterback a springboard to spring pradtice.

The second-year starter says he is trying to improve his post-snap reads which should lead to quciker throws, less sacks and more explosive plays for a unit that was lacking in that department last year.

Studying film from last year has also aided Klubnik in his development as he looks to show drastic improvement from his first year running the offense.
