The Tennessee Volunteers welcome plenty of new faces on the offensive side of the football. Which players push the needle for them next season?
LSU transfer offensive tackle Lance Heard is the most high-profile offensive lineman that Tennessee has landed in the transfer portal under head coach Josh Heupel. The 6-foot-6, 335-pounder is likely Tennessee’s starting left tackle next season. He appeared in twelve games with LSU during his true freshman season, starting one contest against Army. Heard earned All-SEC Freshman Honors for his efforts but was stuck behind two older offensive tackles. He transferred to Knoxville, Tennessee, and immediately became their most physically impressive offensive lineman who has legitimate Sunday tools.
Chris Brazzell, WR
Tulane transfer wide receiver Chris Brazzell II began his college career as a defensive back but quickly switched to the offensive side of the ball. He logged 44 catches for 711 yards and five touchdowns during his redshirt freshman season, earning national Freshman All-American honors. He has three seasons of eligibility remaining and offers Iamaleava a bonafide deep threat. Brazzell stands 6-5 and has strong hands at the catch point, something Tennessee lacked last season.
