Seattle Seahawks to Review the Terms Of The Contract with Mike Macdonald As More top recruits reacts to Him being named…………….

Mike Macdonald is poised to lead the Seahawks’ defense, taking his coaching prowess to the bustling streets of Seattle.

Reports indicate that the Seahawks are set to appoint Macdonald as their next head coach.

For the past two seasons, Macdonald has served as the defensive coordinator for the Ravens. Baltimore boasted impressive defensive stats,

ranking first in points allowed and sixth in yards allowed in 2023, and third and ninth respectively in 2022.

Beginning his journey with the Ravens as a coaching intern in 2014, Macdonald gradually climbed the ranks, coaching defensive backs and

linebackers. He briefly departed for Michigan in 2021 to serve as Jim Harbaugh’s defensive coordinator before returning to Baltimore in

2022 to fill the role of defensive coordinator.

At just 36 years old, Macdonald will become the youngest head coach in the league, stepping into the shoes of Pete Carroll, who, at 72, was

the oldest head coach before him.

According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, the Seahawks were willing to bide their time, but they ultimately acted swiftly, meeting with

Macdonald in Baltimore on Tuesday and finalizing an agreement in Seattle on Wednesday.

Reports suggest that Macdonald will sign a six-year contract, as per NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero.

With Macdonald’s appointment, the Seahawks now fill their head coaching position, leaving the Commanders as the only team with a

vacancy in that role.
