Transcript:
I’m Trevon Brazile, playing as a Power Forward for the Arkansas Razorbacks. The fan support is incredible—it adds an unmatched energy to every game, which is something we deeply appreciate. When I sustained my injury, I sensed it was serious and surgery might be on the cards. UAMS Health immediately stepped in, outlining the initial steps of my rehab. Being unfamiliar with medical procedures, I placed my full confidence in them. Their track record and the reassurance from past cases they shared instilled a sense of trust in me. It’s hard to express how eager I am to return to the court. Sitting out for months, unable to do what you love, is incredibly tough. But the prospect of playing again in front of our fans, doing what I love, fills me with excitement.

Trevon Brazile, pronounced Trev-In Brazil, transferred to Fayetteville following his freshman season (2021-22) with the Missouri Tigers, leaving him with three remaining years of eligibility.
During the 2022-23 season (his senior year at Arkansas), Brazile faced a setback when he suffered a season-ending knee (ACL) injury in the first half of the UNC Greensboro game, which was the team’s ninth game of the season.
Despite his injury, Brazile showcased his skills in the nine games he played, primarily serving as the team’s sixth man. He averaged 11.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per game and emerged as the team’s leading 3-point shooter, with a 37.9% success rate (11-of-29).
Some highlights from his abbreviated season include:

– Against South Dakota State, he notched his second career double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, shooting efficiently at 5-of-9 from the field and making all his free throws.
– In the game against Creighton, Brazile scored 17 points, making a career-high seven field goals and blocking three shots.
– Against San Diego State, he led his team in scoring for the first time in his career, contributing 20 points along with nine rebounds. Brazile showcased his clutch performance by scoring 18 of his 20 points in the second half, including key plays down the stretch to force overtime.
– In the game versus San Jose State, he once again led his team in scoring, setting a new career-high with 23 points. Brazile displayed remarkable efficiency, shooting 8-of-9 from the field and 6-of-8 from the free-throw line, while also contributing in rebounds, assists, and blocked shots.
